Smithfield – Ronald Keith Mozingo, age 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 11, 2020, in UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. He was born on February 25, 1944, a son of the late Milford and Louise Mozingo in Johnston County. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy and Ken Mozingo.
He was a member of Pine Level Pentecostal Holiness Church and a member of the VVA Chapter #990. Keith loved to fish and hunt but he was best at making people laugh. He loved cooking for crowds, but most importantly he loved his family. He loved his wife of 45 years, his daughter and his two granddaughters who were the apple of his eye.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 14, 2020, in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Tee’s Chapel Church Cemetery. Family and friends can pay their respects Monday morning from 8:00-10:30 a.m. The family will not be present during this time.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Mrs. Ida Thornton Mozingo, daughter, Marie Carcione (husband Frank) of Selma, grandchildren, Suzanne Carcione, Allison Carcione, Christian Carcione, nephews, Jimmy Mozingo Jr. and Mark Mozingo.
