    Raleigh, NC: Mrs. Ruby Pearl Lee Hudson, age 75, died Sunday, after a courageous battle with cancer, at her daughter, Candice’s residence. She was surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. Paul M. Holder and Tom Dorman. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.
    Mrs. Hudson was born November 25, 1941 in Sampson County to the late Seth L. and Pearl L. Lee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Junius Hudson; sisters, Peggy Ellis and Georgia Mae Herring; brothers, Seth Lee, Jr., Jimmy Lee, Thomas Lee and Donald Ray Lee. Mrs. Hudson was a loving wife and mother. She was also a founding member of Black Creek Worship Center in Angier. She was dedicated to her family, church family and quilting ministry. Her outgoing personality touched many people.
    Surviving are children and spouses, Ruby Lynn & Donnie Lee of Dunn, Teresa & Keith Callahan of Raleigh, Timothy & Allison Hudson of Atlantic Beach, Susan & Paul Holder, Candice & Robbie McDonald all of Angier and Matthew Hudson of Raleigh; grandchildren and spouses, Ashley Lee, Crystal Callahan, Kasey Callahan, Lorrel & Duston Dunn, Ellen & Anthony Allen, Brandon Hudson, Seth Hudson, Rachel Holder, Joshua Holder, Lillie McDonald, Hudson McDonald, Becca, Letty and AJ; great granddaughter, Addilynn Dunn; sisters, Louetta Young and Hettie Rose Hayes, both of Newton Grove and Ruth Massey of Four Oaks; several nieces and nephews.
    Sincere thank you to Candice, Robbie, Lillie and Hudson for your unwavering care you gave mama/grandma during her illness.
    The family will receive friends Tuesday 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Candice and Robbie McDonald, 214 Abundant Ave., Angier, NC 27501.
