Rudolph Randall Jones, age 87, of Pine Level passed away on March 30, 2018. Born in Pikeville, N.C. on September 22, 1930, he was the son of William Jones and Lela Bowden Jones. His wife was the late Martha Howell Jones.
Mr. Jones served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of Micro Free Will Baptist Church and was very active in the community. He was President of Bank of Pine Level for 35 years. He served 2 terms as mayor of the Town of Pine Level. He was on the Board for the Carolina Bible Institute, a member of the Pine Level Lions Club and a member of the Selma Masonic Lodge.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2nd at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Lyn Renfrow and Rev. Al Warrick officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will be at Price Cemetery near Pine Level. The family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at Parrish Funeral Home, just prior to the service.
Surviving are his sons, Randy Jones of Princeton and Mark Jones of Raleigh; daughters, Vicky Martin and husband, Gregg of Pine Level, and Wanda Blow and husband, Gordon of Smithfield; grandchildren, Emily Byrd, Lindsay Marrow, Justin Byrd and Jeremy Barbour and great grandchildren, Madison Barbour and Weston Barbour.
