Mrs. Sandra Lee Hodges Neighbors, 77, of Dunn, died Sunday, August 16, 2020 at her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Huntersville, NC.
Mrs. Neighbors was born on February 2, 1943 to the late Millus Edward Hodges and Doris Lee Hodges of Dunn. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Bruce Neighbors.
She was a graduate of Dunn High School, and attended Campbell College. She was privileged to be home with her children in their younger years, and then worked as an Administrator at Unprecedented Care. She touched the hearts and lives of all who knew her. Her faith, trust, and love were in the Lord.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Greg Battle, her son, John Edward Neighbors, granddaughter, Katherine Grace, her very special brother, Thomas Edward Hodges, his wife, Jan, a nephew, William Michael Hodges, his wife Stacy, and nieces, Thomma Elizabeth Hodges, and Katie Thomas Hodges.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, August 21, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be James Holt, Wanda Skilbred, and Suzanne McCorkell. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Benson, NC.
The family will receive friends 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
In accordance with the current NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggest practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W’s: wait, wash and wear a face covering.
