Four Oaks, NC: Miss Sarah Frances Barber, age 87, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Brookdale Senior Living in Smithfield, NC. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Four Oaks City Cemetery in Four Oaks, NC. Revs. Joey Yow and Tyler Wood will officiate.
Miss Barber was born on January 3, 1933 in Johnston County to the late Carr Olive and Della Godwin Barber. She retired from the Capital Department Store in Smithfield with 45 years of service. After retirement, Miss Barber was a receptionist with Rex HealthCare in Raleigh. She was a lifelong member of Four Oaks United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her sister, Betty Jean Barber of Smithfield; many loving cousins and friends.
