Coats, NC: Mrs. Sharlon Hargis Johnson, age 65, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020. A Graveside Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM-Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier, NC. Rev. Roland Byrd will officiate.
Mrs. Johnson was born on January 23, 1955 in Harnett County to the late Carlie Hargis and Josephine Beasley Hargis. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Samuel Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant and also an assistant director of Senter’s Nursing Home.
Surviving include her husband, Larry Thomas Johnson; children, Randy Thomas Johnson of Fuquay Varina; and Jeffrey Allen Johnson and wife, Robin of Fuquay Varina; grandchildren, Megan Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Morgan Johnson, Bradley Johnson, Olivia Johnson, Julianne Johnson and William Johnson; great-grandchildren, Hunter Johnson and Jaxon Perry; sister, Gail Smith of Coats; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the graveside on Sunday at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
