Wake Forest – Susan Amanda “Mandy” Jones, age 34, died Wednesday, July 9, 2020 at her home.
Born September 27, 1985 in Wake County, she was the loving daughter of Everette and Susan Darlene Jones of Knightdale. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Dean Jones.
Mandy was known for her generosity and sweet smile. She was hard-working and proud of her job and her accomplishments. She was extremely proud of her Native American heritage. She regularly paid for meals for seniors and veterans. She also loved road trips with her family and shopping.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2020 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday just prior to the service.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her brothers, Edward Meshaw (Charlotte) of Lumberton, Bryan Everette (Meredith) of Goldston, Thomas Jones (Sheyenne) of Fort Carson, CO; sisters, Denise “Noonie” Garner (Clark) of Greensboro, Danielle Lemus of Long Island, NY, Christina Maynard of Greensboro, and Katherine Jones of Raleigh; her children and canine companions, Mojo and Lucky; and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
