Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Thomas Eugene Johnson, age 77, of 1414 Oliver’s Grove Church Road died Thursday at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be 5:00PM Saturday at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Rev. Marvin Bryant and Mr. Linwood Price will officiate. Burial will be 2:00PM Sunday in the Hills of the Neuse Memorial Gardens, Smithfield.
Mr. Johnson was born on August 15, 1939 in Johnston County to the late Wyatt and Bessie McLamb Johnson. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Sherrill Layton Johnson, James Johnson, Roy Preston Johnson, Charles Johnson, Billy Ray Johnson; sister, Sarah Johnson. Mr. Johnson retired from manufacturing and a member of Johnson’s Chapel PFWB Church.
Surviving are wife of 42 years, Judith P. Johnson; son, Paul Joseph Johnson of Fayetteville; son, Daniel and wife Melinda Johnson of Wendell; sisters, Grace Byrd of Four Oaks, Mary Lou Byrd of Benson, Annie Ruth Blackmon of Garner, and Marie West Johnson of Benson; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home.
