Thomas Radford, 86, passed away at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro on Sunday, May 26, 2019. He was born in Johnston County on June 6, 1932 to the late Arthur Radford and Lucinda Bryant Radford. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Radford. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 9:30 am with the Reverend Leslie Holt and Reverend Richard Radford officiating. A private burial will be held at Grace Baptist Church Cemetery in Princeton.
He worked for the NC Private Protective Services as an Armed Guard with the NC Department of Justice. He also worked with the Ford dealership in Wilson and was the owner of the Tommy’s Garage.
He is survived by brothers, Paul Radford and wife, Teresa of Princeton, Charlie Radford and wife, Ann of Selma, and Richard Radford and wife, Bonnie of Smyrna, TN; sisters, Lucinda Cole of Goldsboro, and Appie Crowder of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends from 8:30 am until 9:30 am on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel.
