Willow Spring, NC: Mrs. Vada Stephenson Allen, age 96, died Monday at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Friday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Johnson. Burial will follow in the W. H. Grimes Cemetery, Willow Spring, NC.
Mrs. Allen was born on March 1, 1921 in Johnston County to the late Ransom Newton and Mary Harriett Grimes Stephenson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Allen; and seven brothers and one sister. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker, farmer, and retired from Cornell Dubilier Electronics. She was also a life-long member of White Memorial Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by sisters and brother-in-law, Martha Jean Barbour and Emily Faye S. and Mack Honeycutt all of Willow Springs, NC; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
