Angier, NC: Mrs. Vickie Bell Byrd Roberts, age 69, of 977 Ridge Road, died Monday, January 6, 2020 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 PM-Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. R.B. Parrish and Elvin Butts.
Mrs. Roberts was born on October 2, 1950 in Harnett County to the late Clyde Etheridge and Meta Bell Clifton Byrd. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rex Etheridge Byrd and step-mother, Virginia Byrd. Mrs. Roberts retired from Dorothea Dix Hospital as a recovery nurse.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, John Danford “Danny” Roberts, Jr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Jonathan and Sandy Roberts of Franklinton and Jason and Meagan Roberts of Angier; grandchildren, Brianna Bonds and Henry Roberts; brother, Bobby Byrd of Angier; mother-in-law, Callie Roberts of Benson; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
