Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Wade Edward Turnage, age 70, of 5123 NC-96 S in Four Oaks, NC passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Johnston UNC Health Care in Smithfield, NC. Graveside Services will be 3:00PM-Friday, September 3, 2021 at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Mr. Curtis Hudson.
Mr. Turnage was born on January 19, 1951 in Johnston County to the late Meronie and Sancy Stanley Turnage. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Durwood and Sherwood Turnage; and step-grandson, Kyle Wingard. He worked in underground utilities for most of his life.
Surviving include his wife of 54 years, Beverly Oliver Turnage; his children, Tony Turnage and wife Tammy and Shelley Lee; grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Kylie, and Landon; great-grandchildren, Jarrett and Jaxson; step-grandchildren, Chris Wingard and Chase Hare.
Mr. Turnage will be available for viewing, and you may sign the register book on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 1:30-2:30 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Beverly Turnage at 5123 NC-96 S. Four Oaks, NC 27524.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Face coverings are not required, but are kindly recommended for all services.
