Walter Curtis Hargis, age 63, of Wilson’s Mills, passed away on May 26, 2020. Born in Harnett County on March 29, 1957, he was the son of the late Floyd E. and Arlene Campbell Hargis. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Rose Hargis. Walter was a retired employee of Grifols Pharmaceuticals in Clayton and was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Selma.
The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma of Saturday, May 30, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm followed by funeral services at 4:30pm. Rev. Margaret Britt and Rev. Rodney Pearce will officiate. Entombment will be in Selma Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Willoughby Hargis; his son, Jonathan Hargis of Smithfield; his daughter, Jennifer Crocker and husband Jeremy of Clayton; his grandchildren, Jordan and Jenna Crocker; and his sister, Debbie Hargis of Four Oaks.
