Smithfield – Walter Ralph “Walt” Bizzell, age 65, died January 8, 2020 at WakeMed in Raleigh. Born June 1, 1954 in Johnston County he was a son of the late Ralph Britt and Vera Blackmon Bizzell. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jessie Albert Bizzell.
Surviving are his brother, Donald Bizzell and wife Gail of Clayton; sister, Joyce Barnes and husband Jerry of Shallotte; many nieces and nephews; and fiancée, Sherry Capps of Smithfield.
