Smithfield—William Andrew Braswell, Jr., 59, of US Highway 301 South passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020. Born in Woodbury, New Jersey on February 14, 1961, he was the son of William Andrew Braswell, Sr. and Carol McCartney Braswell. William was a welder with Braswell Iron Works.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Colleen Tattrie Braswell; two sons, Andrew Braswell, III and Triston James Braswell, both of Smithfield; brother, Ralph James Braswell of Virginia; sister, Laura Tyndall of Wilmington.
A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
