William “Billy” Ashley Howell
Brother Billy Howell passed from this life Thursday, March 5, 2020. Billy was born May 6, 1963, in Goldsboro, N.C. to Emma Lee Game Howell and the late William Duffy Howell.
Funeral services for William “Billy” Ashley Howell, age 56, of Normandy, TN, will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2020, at Edgemont Baptist Church in Shelbyville, TN with Pastor Billy Joe Calvert officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to services on Monday starting at 11:00 a.m. at Edgemont Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Casey Funeral Home & Cremations in Princeton, NC. The Graveside Service will be conducted 1:30 pm at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
He graduated from Princeton High School class of 1981, and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Clear Creek Baptist College. He married his wife Patty in 1992 and raised three daughters. He and his family served Jesus Christ and the church, spreading the Gospel in many states throughout the southeast (KY, NC, TN, and VA). Billy loved the Lord, the church, and his family. In his free time, he enjoyed golf and being outdoors, observing God’s wondrous creation.
Survivors include: loving wife of 27 years: Patty Lynn Dye Howell; daughters, Ashley Lynn (Kinley Prince) of Greenville, S.C., Emily Brooke (Erik Willis) of Williamsburg KY, and Caitlyn Hope Howell of Williamsburg, KY; along with his mother he is also survived by, sisters, Bonnie (Frank) Davis and Cova Marie (David) Gardner both of Goldsboro, NC; and brother, Robert “Bob” (Kim) Pendergraft of Wake Forest NC, also many nieces and nephews.
