Newton Grove, NC: Mr. William Larry Pollard, age 67, of Newton Grove, died Saturday at his residence. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church, Four Oaks. Officiating will be Pastor Eddie White.
Mr. Pollard was born in Johnston County on April 29, 1950 to Rosa Lee Ennis Pollard of Wilson Mills and to the late William Howard Pollard. Mr. Pollard was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Pollard; son, Christopher Pollard and a brother, Howard Bruce Pollard. He was a residential painter.
Surviving in addition to his mother are; fiancé, Drusilla E. Benton of Newton Grove; children, William Gary Pollard, Sr. of Newton Grove; Carolyn Case of Roseville, Robbie Pollard of Dunn, William Larry Cope, Jr. of Newton Grove, Tony Pollard of Macon, GA, and Kelly Pollard of Four Oaks; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Danny Pollard of Byron, GA and a sister, Tammy Smith of Durham; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks 1:30PM to 2:30 PM prior to the service.
