Willie Lou Jones Goldman, age 84, of Selma passed away at Wake Medical Center on December 3, 2017. Born in Johnston County on July 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Rhem T. and Ethel Bunn Jones. Her husband was the late John W. Goldman, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at Live Oak Baptist Church on Saturday, December 9, at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 12 – 1 PM.
Surviving are her sons, Joe Barbee and wife Dawn of Raleigh, John Goldman of Zebulon; daughter, Cathy Best and husband Phil of Swansboro; brother, R. T. Jones of Selma; sisters, Carolyn Murray and Pat Taylor of Selma, Shelby Spillare of Melbourne,FL; grandchildren, Spring Forbus, Joey Borders, Amanda Barbee and Will Goldman; and great grandchildren, Maya, Kira, Gabe and Che’.
