Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Willie Sherwood Lee, age 78, of Lee’s Union Church Road, Four Oaks, died Tuesday at New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington. No services will be held at this time.
Mr. Lee was born in Johnston County on April 29, 1939 to Eston and Vonnie Coats Lee. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents. He was a tool and die worker and worked for Rockwell & British Tool & Tire and was a US Air Force Veteran.
Surviving are his sons: Jeffery Sherwood Lee of Selma and Alan Wood Lee of Selma; grandson, Robert E. Lee; brother, Shelton and Linda Lee of Emerald Isle; Judy L. & Martin Moore of Greenwood, SC; Tommy and Jackie Lee of Four Oaks; several nieces and nephews.
