Princeton –Wilma Gray Jernigan, age 69, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born April 5, 1948 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Millie Barbour Jernigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Malhon “Bill” Williams; and brother, Coleman Jernigan.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the Family Life Center of Rosewood Church of God with Rev. Steve Roy and Rev. Jeff Barnes officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Langston and husband Kirk of Goldsboro; sister, Jean Herald and husband Jerry of Wendell; grandchildren, Billy Earl Lee, Jr. and wife April of Zebulon, Georgia Mitchell and husband Jason of Princeton, and Sidney Langston of Homer, GA; great grandchildren, Shawn Lee, Madison Mitchell, Macie Mitchell, Kaleesi Langston, and Coleman Lee; and nephew, Jerry Ashworth and wife Jimi.
