Wyndi Vick

    It is with great sadness that the family of Wyndi Pittman Vick, aged 56, announces her sudden passing on Sunday afternoon, October 28, 2018 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh; she was surrounded by her family.

    Wyndi was born in Hawaii on February 5, 1962 to Thurman Murray and Shirley Kay Piner Pittman. Wyndi worked as a meal specialist with the Wilson County School System. She had an infectious smile, a vivacious personality and was full of joy. She was kind, generous and caring. Wyndi loved spoiling her much adored dogs, was an excellent cook and loved the ocean. She had a great sense of humor, her laugh was loud and contagious and could brighten up any room. Wyndi was a devout Christian, she was an active and devoted member of Kenly Missionary Baptist Church and the strength of her faith was evident in all she did. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend. Her loss is deeply felt by her community and the many that loved her.

    In addition to her parents, Wyndi is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 27 years, Ricky Neal Vick; son, William Roberson Noe, Jr. and wife Emily of Raleigh; step-son Matthew Tyler Vick, wife Jacqueline, and granddaughter, Lois of Middle River, Maryland; brother Murray Pittman, Jr. and wife Valerie of Pinehurst; mother-in-law Shirley Vick of Kenly, and her niece Kristin Campbell, husband Aaron and children, Colton, Elijah and Berkley, of Chesterfield, Virginia. Wyndi will also be forever loved and remembered by her numerous aunts and uncles, extended family and treasured friends.

    A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Kenly
    Missionary Baptist Church 1730 NC-222, Kenly, with Associate Pastor Dario Ruvarac officiating. The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m until the time of the service.
