Old North State Food Hall To Open On August 26

New venue features ten restaurants with a variety of cuisines

SELMA – The much-anticipated Old North State Food Hall will open its doors on Friday, August 26. located at 67 JR Road in Selma, NC, ONSFH offers ten diverse cuisines all under one roof.

Opening tenants include FUKU, Barley and Burger, Luna Pizza, Curry in a Hurry, Aroma de Cuba, The Mac House, My Cielo Taqueria, Cock a Doodle Moo, Bean and Bubble, and Butter Cream. Longleaf Tavern, housed in what was once a humidor in the historic JR Cigars building, will serve as the “heart of the food hall,” offering full bar service.

North Carolina commercial real estate development firm AdVenture Development, LLC, developed the food hall. Hospitality HQ (HHQ), a leading food hall management company, will manage the operations. Colicchio Consulting Group (acquired by Cushman & Wakefield) and Eimer Design created and designed the foodie haven in the 15,000 square foot space.

AdVenture Development President Kevin Dougherty shared, “The idea that a group of friends or family members can all have their choice of cuisine in one place is a game-changer. We’re excited to welcome the community as well as travelers along the interstate.”

A ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration is planned for later this fall. ONSFH will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday through Thursday, 7 am to 9 pm, and Friday and Saturday, 7 am to 10 pm. Online ordering will be available at www.onsfh.com. Small meeting room space is available in the Longleaf Tavern.

  2. I believe it will do well here. The “Food Court” concept is doing well in other locations already. Between the constant I-95 traffic, the “occasional” local patrons now, and the 2000-unit’s worth of people being
    built-for in that area, it’s a no-brainer! I and my wife will be checking it out!

  3. it’s just a food court with no mall… who would be excited for that? I do wish we had a decent indian or thai restaurant around

    • We had a great Thai restaurant where the Vero’s pizza is currently and it closed down probably because it wasn’t supported.
