CLAYTON – A mother driving her seven children to school was injured Thursday morning when their van collided with an SUV at the Ranch Road and Jack Road intersection.
None of the children or the other driver was injured in the 6:35am accident near Clayton.
The mother was transported to Johnston Health in Clayton for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
A person who lives at the intersection said, “This happens all of the time, here. They really need a four-way stop at this intersection.”
One lane of Ranch Road was closed for at least 90 minutes during the accident investigation and clean up.
