One person died following a backhoe accident Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened at 1:41pm at 508 Reedy Creek Road, just off Highway 210 near Four Oaks.
Authorities said Charles Peterson died when the backhoe he was operating overturned at his home. Peterson was just one week away from his 75th birthday.
