BENSON – Benson Police are conducting a death investigation after one person was fatally shot Thursday inside a pawn shop.
Benson Police and first responders were dispatched to a shooting at Kennedy’s Paradise Pawn at 123 West Main Street around 11:00am today.
Upon arrival, police said they located a male who had been fatally shot inside the business in an apparent accident. The name of the individual was not immediately released.
No other individuals were injured.
Police said this is an active investigation. No additional details have been released.
This situation is so sad! I know someone who works there and this was truly an accident. Prayers are needed for all involved.
