No charges are expected to be filed against a woman who reportedly jumped from a moving vehicle. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries to her face, arms, and hip.
It happened around 1:00pm Saturday near the intersection of Highway 210 and Lassiter Road outside of Four Oaks.
The driver of the vehicle was headed to a local store when the 28 year-old Four Oaks woman, who was riding in the back seat, reportedly told the driver she didn’t want to go to the store. She opened the car door and fell onto the pavement.
Authorities said the vehicle was traveling about 30mph at the time. The victim was taken to Wake Medical Center for treatment.
