The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance solving a rash of break-ins into sheds and storage barns. Several have occurred in the McGee’s Crossroads community.
Deputies have released images from a home security camera that captured a suspect break into a storage building at a home in the 10000 block of Highway 210 last Thursday, May 12th.
Officers said the suspect, an older white male, driving a gold older-model Jeep Cherokee, stopped at the home and knocked on the door. After no one answered he backed up his SUV to a barn and removed several items.
Anyone who has information about the suspect or the vehicle is asked to contact the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office at 919-989-5000. Callers can remain anonymous.
