Wilson’s Mills Police announced Thursday they have apprehended all five suspects involved in a residential break-in. Police release surveillance photos of the suspects Monday on Johnston County Report. Police Chief A.Z. Williams said 50 tips were received from the public helping detectives identify the suspects.
The final two suspects, 33 year-old Alexandra “Alex” Smith and 29 year-old Ashley Nichole Beasley were arrested Wednesday with the assistance of the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and the Four Oaks Police Department.
On Tuesday, Jonathan Mal Jeffcoat, 43, of Holly Springs; Marcus Dwayne Stanley, 37, of Four Oaks; and Jamie Lynn Harding, 35, of Newton Grove were arrested near Benson.
All five individuals are charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. Jeffcoat and Harding were also charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
A home security camera captured the suspects forced their way into a home on Jones Court on March 19th stealing multiple items including a medium-sized household safe containing cash and jewelry.
Chief Williams thanked the public for their assistance with identifying the suspects.
