Police Catch Pair With Stolen Building Materials

One suspect gives police fictitious name
SMITHFIELD – Police officers arrested two suspects for reportedly stealing building materials. Around 12:30pm Monday, police said Michael Scott Harris, age 30, and Sharon Lynn O’Neal, age 45, of Bailey were observed on Spirea Drive placing building supplies in a blue passenger car.
Responding officers spotted the car in the neighborhood and conducted a traffic stop. During a search of the car the stolen supplies, valued at $350, along with suspected methamphetamine were located.
Harris and O’Neal were both charged with felony larceny from a construction site and felony possession of methamphetamine. They were held in the Johnston County Jail, each under a $20,000 secured bond.
Police said Harris gave the name of his brother, Richard Caison, during his arrest Monday. On Tuesday, police determined Harris had given a fictitious name. He was subsequently charged with identity theft and his bond was increased an additional $30,000.

I wonder if these two are the ones that have been going around stealing from homes under construction in the county?
