Smithfield Police are investigating a break-in at Smithfield Community Park. The break-in was discovered at the concession stand inside the park early Wednesday morning.
Two doors were damaged and a total of $42 in cash was reported missing. There are no suspects in the case.
Police are also investigating a break-in at the town-owned water pump station on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. That break-in was discovered Thursday. A lock to a door was damaged but no items were reported missing, according to Police Captain T.S. Choe.
