Police Locate Missing Woman, Arrested On Outstanding Warrants

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Goldsboro Police Department has arrested Lisa Michelle Boyle, who had been missing since January 2020, on outstanding charges.
Ms. Boyle, age 65, the mother of Natasha South-Boyle, was taken into custody over-the-weekend in Thomasville, N.C., following a joint investigation by the Goldsboro Police Department’s Cold Case Unit, the Raleigh Police Department, and the Thomasville Police Department.
The arrest stems from Boyle’s failure to appear in court on a Felony Concealment/Failure to Report a Death charge stemming from the 2019 death of her daughter, Natasha South-Boyle. Natasha was found deceased at a home on Hunters Place in Goldsboro on March 10, 2019. An investigation and autopsy concluded there was no foul play in her death.
In addition to the failure to appear warrant, Lisa Michelle Boyle faces a June 2019 Hit and Run Property Damage warrant.
She was transported to the Davidson County Detention Center and is being held on a $3,000 secured bond.
