A large quantity of drugs and a firearm were seized by Selma Police during a search of a home this week.
On Monday, police received an anonymous tip about possible drug activity at the home in the 600 block of Peedin Street. Officers responded and immediately detected a marijuana odor coming from the address.
During a search police said they located 163 grams of marijuana concealed in a dresser drawer, 7 grams of cocaine hidden in a closet and a loaded .38 Special handgun in the hallway.
Tykee Demar Storey, 26, of the 600 block of Peedin Street, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, violation of a domestic violence protection order, and possession of a firearm while subject to a restraining order.
The narcotics had a potential street value of $2,330.
