Public Hearings Held On Public School, JCC Bond Referendums

Two public hearings were held before Johnston County Commissioners at their July 9th meeting.

The public hearings were on a $61 million bond referendum for Johnston County Schools and a $15 million bond referendum for Johnston Community College.

No one spoke during either public hearing. Under state law the Public Hearings must be held before county commissioners can complete the authorization process to place the bond referendums before voters.

Voters will decide on both bond issues at the polls on November 6th.
