Quick Response Limits Damage In Four Oaks House Fire

FOUR OAKS — A prompt response by Four Oaks firefighters limited damage to a residence following a house fire Friday afternoon.

The fire was reported shortly before 2 p.m. at a home on Austin Street, approximately two blocks from the Four Oaks Fire Station.

Fire crews arrived to find an active fire and were able to quickly bring the flames under control. The home sustained both fire and water damage.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
