PRINCETON – A former employee at a Johnston County drug store has been arrested. On November 17, 2023, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office was alerted by a manager at Woodard Drug Store, at 102 Edwards Street in Princeton, to the alleged offense.
Following an investigation, Teresa Sanders McManus, age 42, of Pine Top Lane, Princeton was arrested December 5, 2023 and charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and two felony counts of larceny by an employee.
McManus is accused of altering the audit inventory of prescription medication on hand at Woodard Drug Store to allegedly steal one Oxycodone pill, on two separate occasions.
McManus was released from custody on a $50,000 bond pending her next court appearance.
