CLAYTON – A motorist is facing numerous charges after he reportedly drove the wrong way on I-42 (formerly the US 70 Bypass) near Clayton.

Around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, June 29, deputies said they received reports of a wrong way driver. Officers were able to locate the vehicle on Veterans Parkway at I-42.
Tashawn Calhoun, 37, of Willow Drive, Clayton was charged with driving while impaired, driving on a revoked license, reckless driving wanton disregard, resisting a public officer, and traveling the wrong way on a dual lane highway.
Deputies said Calhoun refused to submit to a Breathalyzer test.
He was taken before a magistrate and held on a $25,000 secured bond.
Refused a breath test…. Guilty right there moron
