Rezoning Approved For Future Church Site
SELMA – A church pastor received approval from the Selma Town Council to rezone land for a future church site.
William Arreaga of Middlesex petitioned the town council to rezone a 4.2 acre tract of undeveloped land in the 1100 block of E. Lizzie Street from Industrial to R-8 (Residential).
Arreaga, a minister for 21 years, said his church is meeting at a temporary location in Clayton and is looking for a permanent home.
The Planning Board previously recommended approval.
Churches and places of worship are a permitted use under R-8 zoning.

Another church is fine….better than having another bar… thank you Mayor Mcallister and the Selma Town Council for that decision.
LOL… I’ll wager that more folks in Selma drink than attend church.
YES. Another church is awesome. these folks need Jesus in their life, and we need less housing developments. I say a win win! this is I can get behind
Tell Jesus we need lower mortgage rates.
