Ribbon Cutting For Princeton Community Center & Public Library

PRINCETON –  The Town of Princeton has announced the grand opening of a landmark facility that promises to shape the future of the community: the brand-new Princeton Community Center and Princeton Public Library.

Residents and community partners are invited to a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Friday, December 12th at 10:00 a.m. Attendees will join local, state, and federal representatives to celebrate this strategic investment in the town’s future. Refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony.

A Dual-Purpose Vision: The new facility represents the very best of Princeton’s aspirations, divided into two distinct yet complementary spaces designed to serve every generation:

  • The Princeton Community Center: A dedicated space for gathering, learning new skills, celebrating milestones, and making memories. It will serve as a hub for community involvement and government affairs, forging connections that strengthen the fabric of the town.
  • The Princeton Public Library: A modern gateway to knowledge and imagination. As a sanctuary for students and a window to the world for all ages, the library remains an essential resource for literacy, education, and equal access to information.

“This project was made possible through the tireless efforts of government leaders and the generosity of public and private citizens. The Town extends a special thank you to Representatives Larry Strickland, and Representative John Bell for their advocacy and hard work in bringing this project to fruition. Thank you to our Town Board and our Town Administrator Michael King for his dedication and commitment on this project. We are so excited and very thankful for this monumental occasion,” said Mayor Stacy Johnson.
