  1. No charges filed? ….. unsafe conditions and running 100mph ….. doesn’t matter what the call, he endangered himself and any other vehicles on the wet payment with pouring rain. He should be charged as any other person would be.

  2. Your are right. That was poor judgement on the Deputies part. I stay in the area and passed by and seen the uncalled for wreak. He endangered Himself and the Public by driving 100 mph in heavy rain. Thankfully He did not harm someone with his wreak less driving. He should be protecting the Public not endangering them by trying to be a race car driver on public highways. Law enforcement is great, but protecting the guilty is not, who ever you are.

  3. Give it a rest BWW. The Newton Grove Officer called out for assistance. He was in trouble and the Deputy did just what you would have done for one of your family members. Don’t shoot your mouth when you don’t know. Tell you what, if you ever need an ambulance because you’re having a heart attack, tell them to take their time! As for Deputy B.M. Maddox, Prayers for a speedy recovery.

  4. So many people are quick to judge. I agree it was unsafe conditions to be driving that fast. However, I personally know Deputy Maddox and he is amazing young man and was trying to get to his fellow officer. Our first responders put themselves at risk every day without hesitation. They are human and make mistakes. I applaud you Deputy Maddox but if you can, no more accidents 😬. I know your mom and dad and siblings would appreciate it.
