Sampson County deputies have identified a man shot and killed at his home early Saturday.
Officers responded to a shots fired call on Seven Eagles Lane near Clinton and discovered the victim had been shot. Authorities said 27 year-old Donte Leach died from his injuries.
No arrests have been made but officers say they are working on leads. Anyone having information concerning the homicide is encouraged to contact investigators at the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office at 910-592-4141.
