ARCHER LODGE – Johnston County Public Utilities can move forward with construction of an elevated water storage tank at Archer Lodge Middle School. The new water tank will help serve the growing community.
The Johnston County School Board unanimously approved an easement to erect the water tank on the southern corner of the school property.
School officials said the easement and water tank will not have any impact on the operations at Archer Lodge Middle. The tank will be built in a area of the property that is vacant and not needed for school purposes.
