Clayton High School Resource Officer and Johnston County deputy Robbie Broughton was honored March 20th for being a Hometown Hero.
Deputy Broughton was recognized by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association as one of the inaugural Hometown Heroes.
Officer Broughton was nominated and selected for serving as a role model in the Clayton High community and making a difference in lives of students. He has served as the SRO at Clayton High for five years.
