Burglars made away with several bottles of vodka after breaking into the Princeton ABC Store on Highway 70 East last Saturday morning.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office says video surveillance images showed a vehicle back up to the front of the business around 4:40 am. An individual then retrieved a mallet from their vehicle, then shattered the front glass door and gained entry. The thief made two trips inside taking Seagram’s and Aristocrat vodka. Damage to the door was estimated at $350.
Authorities have not said if the break-in may be linked to a March 27th burglary at the Princeton ABC Store where two suspects broke into and stole $29.90 worth of whiskey while leaving behind $2,600 in damage.
