KENLY – For the second time in recent days, someone has stolen items from Glendale Chapel Recreation, at 1600 Glendale Road.
On June 4, someone removed a 12 pack of Coke and $3 in cash from the concession stand at the ballfield. There were signs of forced entry.
On May 26, an unknown person or persons stole $550 in cash and $260 in assorted candy and snacks from the concession stand. In this incident, there were no signs of forced entry, according to a law enforcement report.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating both incidents.
It sounds to me like it someone who works in the concession stand or knows someone that does.. Just doesn’t sound like a random person…
