You can celebrate July 4th a day early at the Town of Selma’s All-American Festival scheduled for Tuesday, July 3rd in Uptown Selma.
Activities get underway at 5:00pm and continue until 10:00pm.
At 5:00pm there will be Children’s Activities including bounce houses, Tommy the Train rides, and the all new ‘Water Wars’ water balloon battle.
Festival goers can enjoy two stages of live entertainment. One stage will feature DJ Jim Earp and the other stage will feature the US Air Force Full Spectrum Band from Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.
At 6:00pm there will be a Cornhole Tournament and at 6:30pm the Red White and Chew Pie Eating Contest.
The All-American Festival Opening Ceremonies begins at 6:45pm featuring the Selma Railroad Days Queen Court.
And of course the big fireworks display in front of the Historic Selma Union Train Depot at 9:15pm.
The event is sponsored by the Town of Selma and Selma Parks & Recreation.
