A Sampson County woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly being caught by Selma Police attempting to break into a home on South Webb Street.
On March 22nd, police responded to a 911 call about a burglary in progress said they found 42 year-old Tracy Lynn Talton of Clinton still at the scene.
Police detained Talton. During a search of her car a sawed-off shotgun and numerous prescription pills were located.
Talton was charged with attempted breaking and entering, trafficking in opium, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon of mass destruction, and removal of a serial number from a firearm.
She was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $71,000 bond.
