SELMA – The owner of a 16 acre tract of land near Selma has requested voluntary annexation. Axiom Holdings, LLC of Raleigh owns the property on W. Oak Street, which is within the extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) but just outside the city limits.
The Selma Town Council approved a request at their October meeting to conduct a future public hearing on the annexation request.
If the annexation is approved, the property could potentially be used for townhome development.
Tax records show the company has owned the land since March 2022.
