Selma Man Accused Of Soliciting Child By Computer
WAYNE COUNTY – A Selma man has been arrested on felony charges. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ivan Derrick Cooke, age 42, of Whistle Post Drive, on charges of soliciting a child by computer and indecent liberties with a child.
According to a press release, a report was filed May 13, 2023 regarding a sexual offense involving a juvenile victim. The offense occurred in Wayne County and stemmed from contact on a social media platform.
Following an investigation, Ivan Cooke was arrested and formally charged. He was given a $25,000 secured bond. No additional information was released.
