CLAYTON – A man wanted for the sexual assault of a child in Johnston County has been apprehended.
In April 2025, Clayton Police received a report of a sexual assault involving a 7 year-old victim that occurred in the Alta Mobile Home Park.

Police detectives investigated the accusations and identified Kevin Alexander Serrano-Valle, age 30, as a suspect in this case.
After further investigation, arrest warrants were obtained for Serrano-Valle for one count of indecent liberties with a child and one count of first-degree statutory sex offense by an adult.
Serrano-Valle was recently located and arrested outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service.
Serrano-Valle has been extradited back to North Carolina and is currently in custody at the Johnston County Detention Center under no bond.
Police Chief Greg Tart said detectives are continuing to investigate the case, and additional charges against Serrano-Valle are pending.
ICE

WHY??? What more is there to investigate?!? Just MAKE HIM BE GAWN!
Why waste all the money to ship him back to NC when he was right there in LA. The Marshals’ had HIM! ICE has been keeping the other detainees down there!! This is a no BRAINER!!! Clayton COME ON….I certainly HOPE that there will be NO MORE need to involve the children for ANYMORE ILL-CONCEIVED “PRYING”!!!
Disgusting PIG! 7 yr old CHILD to suffer the rest of his or her life
Thank GOD no bond!! Authorities finally got something right.
Deport if illegal (should be deported regardless)
But ya know, he has rights (so do the big boys that are locked up) where he hopefully be for MANY MANY MANY years. Big boys will love this one…KARMA
