Sheriff’s Office Seeks Help Identifying Church Break-In Suspect

BENSON – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect involved in a break-in at a local church.

The burglary occurred Nov. 24 around 7:40 p.m. at Cross Assembly Church, located at 11699 U.S. Highway 301 South near Interstate 40, just outside the Benson city limits.

According to investigators, the suspect shattered the church’s front glass door to gain entry. Once inside, they stole a Nord Stage 3 keyboard.

The sheriff’s office has released surveillance images of the suspect and the vehicle they were driving.
